Every year old books enter into the "public domain" category as their copyright expires. Here is a list of 25 websites that have these public domain books which are free to download and free to use. Not all the websites originate in America. Some of the websites also have other "pay" for books to download to a computer or e-book reader and some have the free books as audio books. Many of the sites have the books in different languages. And as usual some sites you have to do some searching in order to find the Public Domain books.
